Dear customer,
Following up on the earlier communication about the availability of the SoftComply Change History Table App; we have continued working closely with the Appfire product team, but unfortunately the features currently provided by Atlassian will not allow us to retrieve the Comala Document Management document activity after that app is updated in June 2026.
This means that the SoftComply Change History App will NOT be able to display current data after the update of Comala Document Management planned for June 2026.
What is going to happen
Once the new Comala version is released, the CHT macro is expected to display only old content, as it will have no access to the new storage of the Document Activity.
If installed, the eQMS Companion will be able to retrieve only old CHT data, such as dates of versions.
Availability of the CHT App will terminate on the 30th June 2026, but we will continue to support our current customers for the remainder of their license term.
Action required
To preserve your existing Change History Table data, we strongly recommend performing a bulk PDF export of your pages. This will create a static record of the current CHT content.
Suggested options
Migrate to the SoftComply Document Manager
The App provides an import feature that preserves page history based on Comala activity.Remain with Comala Document Management
You will have to add and manually populate a change history table in each document.
We understand that this may be a significant disruption for your company, but our team is here to assist you in how you decide to move forward.
If you would like to discuss your options in person with one of our experts, please book some time with us here: https://calendly.com/softcomply/eqms
Sincerely,
The SoftComply Management Team
